• Shift: 12 Hour Nights
• Minimum Commitment: 1 shift bi-weekly, minimum 2 shifts per month
• Contract Duration: 52 weeks
• Employment Type: Local, On-Site
• Hourly Pay Rate: $109.74/hr
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $880-$930

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Room
• Perform rapid assessments and triage of incoming patients in a clinical setting
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by physicians
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Respond effectively to emergencies and changing patient conditions in a busy ER environment
