Join our Team Advocate Health is excited to offer a rewarding opportunity as a Surgical Technologist I in our General Specialty PMs. Based in one of the most innovative medical environments, you'll play a crucial role in our Operating Room team at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215.

  • Competitive pay range: $26.10 - $39.15
  • A $10,000 sign-on bonus available with distance-based relocation
  • An additional $2,000 sign-on bonus for PM shifts.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Create a clean and safe surgical environment, utilizing aseptic techniques.
  • Prepare materials and equipment for various surgical procedures.
  • Assist surgeons during operations, ensuring a sterile field and anticipating their needs.
  • Manage the operating room setup and cleanup efficiently.
  • Transport patients and equipment, ensuring safety and proper techniques are utilized.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within 6 months of hire.
  • No prior experience required - we welcome new graduates

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform various physical tasks as needed.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
