Join Our Team as a Surgical Technologist I We are excited to invite you to apply for the Surgical Technologist I position specializing in general surgeries with evening shifts. At Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, you’ll become part of a dedicated team committed to providing innovative, high-quality care to our patients.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive pay ranging from $26.10 to $39.15/hour based on your qualifications and experience.
- Opportunity for a $10,000 sign-on bonus and an additional $2,000 bonus for evening shifts.
- Full-time hours with a 40-hour work week.
- Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, retirement plans, and educational assistance.
Your Role:
- Ensure a clean and efficient surgical environment by using aseptic techniques.
- Prepare and organize surgical instruments and supplies, providing support to the surgical team.
- Assist in maintaining a sterile field and anticipate the needs of the surgeon during procedures.
- Transport patients and equipment, and maintain specialty carts in good condition.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification required within 6 months of hire.
- No prior experience required—recent graduates are encouraged to apply
Physical Requirements:
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical demands of the role including lifting, pushing, and transferring patients.
- Exposure to various hazards; appropriate personal protective equipment will be provided.
