Job Details:

  • Shift: Full-time, Second Shift (Evenings)
  • Pay Range: $26.10 - $39.15
  • Location: Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215
  • Hours Per Week: 40

As a Surgical Technologist I, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and maintaining a sterile field by utilizing aseptic surgical techniques.
  • Assisting with the setup of surgical equipment and materials.
  • Performing various surgical procedures and ensuring a safe and efficient environment.
  • Transporting patients and equipment as needed.
  • Functioning as a second assistant during surgeries, supporting the surgical team.
  • Maintaining specialty carts and ensuring their readiness for surgical procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
  • No prior experience is required.

Physical Requirements: Candidates must be able to handle a fast-paced environment, lift heavy items, and perform specific physical tasks efficiently.
