OVERVIEW Legacy Risk, an Alera Group company, is looking for a Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager. With a network of offices nationwide, our commitment to collaboration allows us to offer national resources combined with local service.  RESPONSIBILITIES• Manage a diverse book of medium-to-large commercial accounts, with a primary focus on real estate, handling 10–20 accounts averaging $25,000 in revenue, and growing accounts to $1MM+.• Build and maintain strong client relationships based on trust, expertise, and superior customer service to ensure high business retention.• Collaborate with producers on new and renewal business, providing technical advice, handling coverage issues, and conducting exposure analysis.• Demonstrate a deep understanding of policies, coverages, forms, accounting methods, ratings, and claims procedures to effectively support client needs.• Utilize the Applied (EPIC) agency system for efficient account management and maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.• Communicate effectively with underwriters and insureds, leveraging strong written and verbal skills to negotiate and resolve issues.• Stay current with industry trends, maintain a California insurance license, and pursue professional designations. QUALIFICATIONS• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in commercial lines account management, specializing in mid-to-large commercial accounts, with a focus on real estate accounts preferred.• Strong knowledge of policies, coverages, forms, accounting methods, ratings, and claims procedures, coupled with excellent rapport-building skills with underwriters and insureds.• Proficiency in Applied (EPIC) agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), with proven organizational and analytical skills.• California insurance license required; professional designations such as CIC, CISR, CPCU, ARM, or CRM are strongly preferred.
