Overview Law enforcement specialists are equipped with the latest law enforcement tools and techniques for keeping the peace. They are responsible for investigating crimes that are committed within military bases. They also control traffic, respond to emergencies, conduct lawful arrests, interview the arrested suspects, guard military installations and correctional facilities, and conduct patrolling activities. Military Training All enlisted service members complete basic military training, which includes time spent in a classroom and in the field, and covers tactical and survival skills, physical training, military life and customs, and weapons training. Law enforcement specialists in the Military will gain skills through classroom study and on-the-job experience.
