The Cash Applications Specialist is responsible for using reports, tools and other resources provided by Aveanna for the accurate posting of cash receipts to the company's accounts receivable records. This is inclusive of payments received from commercial, Medicare, Medicaid and private accounts.
The starting pay for our Cash Application Specialist is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. Responsible for completing day to day duties of cash application specialists
• Works with Centralized Billers, Collectors, and other Cash Applications Specialists to ensure payments are applied accurately
• Process and Apply Cash Transfers
• Responsible for properly logging completed cash batches
• Understands cash applications and enforces business rules and SOX 404 controls
• Apply Cash and Denials as needed
• Ability to maintain records and perform data entry
• Experience with computers, calculators, 10-key, and other basic office equipment
Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English
Have access to high-speed internet and an ethernet cable outlet
