Join the Snowflake team.AS A CONSULTING MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:Be a technical expert on all aspects of SnowflakeGuide customers through the process of planning their migration journey to Snowflake Work with Professional Services, Practice Directors and Sales Account Team on sales pursuits – scoping PS engagements, pricing services, creating statements of workWork with Service Delivery Managers to oversee successful PS engagements and help with issue escalationDevelop methodologies to improve the PS offerings and abilities to deliver complex engagementsHelp create strategies and partnerships with technology vendors and system integrators focused on accelerating customer onboarding on to SnowflakeHelp manage and develop internal accelerators and reusable PS collaterals and assetsMaintain deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors and how to position Snowflake in relation to themProvide guidance on how to resolve customer-specific technical challengesBe a leader, mentor and manager of Snowflake Solutions Architects and Consultants helping them to develop and grow their expertiseCollaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve Snowflake’s offeringsPresent our methodologies, capabilities to both internal teams, external partners and customersWork with System Integrators and Technology Vendors on project pursuitsLead recruiting efforts for Solutions ArchitectsProvide delivery quality oversight and guidance for migration projectsOUR IDEAL CONSULTING MANAGER WILL HAVE:Minimum 10 years of experience working with customers in post-sales technical roleMinimum 3 years of people leadership and management experienceMinimum 3 years of experience in selling professional services; scoping large projects, writing statements of workExtensive knowledge of and experience with large-scale database technology Oracle, Teradata, Netezza, Greenplum, etc.)Experience with non-relational platforms and tools for large-scale data processing Hadoop, HBase)Familiarity and experience with common data integration and data transformation tools Informatica, DataStage, Talend, Matillion)Familiarity and experience with common BI and data exploration tools Microstrategy, Business Objects, Tableau)Experience and understanding of large-scale infrastructure-as-a-service platforms Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)Experience scoping multiple implementations of data platforms and holistically addressing the unique challenges of migrating and integrating the new platformUniversity degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experienceOutstanding skills presenting to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demosUnderstanding of complete data analytics stack and workflow, from ETL to data platform design to BI and analytics toolsStrong knowledge in data architecture, data warehouses, and data engineeringExperience and track record of success selling data and/or analytics software to enterprise customers; includes proven skills identifying key stakeholders, winning value propositions, and compelling eventsAbility and flexibility for occasional travel to work with customers/prospectsWHY JOIN OUR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES TEAM AT SNOWFLAKE?Unique opportunity to work on a truly disruptive software productGet unique, hands-on experience with bleeding edge data cloud technologyDevelop, lead and execute an industry-changing initiativeLearn from the best Join a dedicated, experienced team of professionalsSnowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth.
