Position Summary The SRS Graduate Assistant will assist the Director of Academic Success in the development of pre-accession content material in anatomy and physiology to support first-year graduate student success. Additionally, the employee will assist in research projects focused on scholarship of teaching and learning. This position reports to the Director of Academic Success. Essential Functions Provide academic support to faculty: manage classroom technology assist faculty with preparing course materials assist in content construction on an online content platform utilize educational technology to develop online content Research Support: search and summarize relevant literature assist with gathering and analyzing data for projects help compile bibliographies and manage records Administrative Support: perform filing, copying and data entry update and manage project records Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Knowledge Skills and Abilities Strong writing and communication skills with both faculty and students Ability to work independently Basic data analysis skills Ability to navigate library resources to conduct literature reviews Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to practice as a rehabilitation professional Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures. Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA. Required Education Must be in the second year of a SRS graduate professional education program. Required Work Experience None. Preferred Qualifications Strong performance in undergraduate and graduate anatomy and physiology coursework. Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations None. Work Hours Monday – Friday 8am- 5pm, varied hours May work up to 25 hours per week. Physical Demands None.
