Basic Job Functions: Nucor Steel Birmingham is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Inside Sales Manager. The job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Champion a safety culture, develop and execute commercial goals, provide world class customer service, lead outside of commercial role, maintain inventory control process, coordinate contract reviews, facilitate continuous improvement across the organization, and coordinate production scheduling. Routine travel is expected.  Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years sales experience or degree in related field Preferred Qualifications: Existing knowledge of and sales experience in steel markets Forecasting, inventory management, and leadership experience
