About the Role The Inside Sales Representative, Industrial & Manufacturing Products plays a key role in driving revenue growth by building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions within the industrial and manufacturing markets. This position combines inside sales with occasional field engagement, offering a dynamic mix of account management, lead generation, and consultative selling. The role supports the entire sales process from prospecting and quoting to order fulfillment and customer support while ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness. Candidates who enjoy problem-solving, developing long-term partnerships, and working with technical or industrial products will thrive in this role. Responsibilities: Manage and grow customer accounts through consistent communication, responsive service, and solution-based sellingConduct outbound sales calls, targeted emails, and virtual meetings to develop leads, nurture prospects, and close salesSupport the full sales cycle by preparing detailed quotes, processing sales orders, and providing accurate information on product availability, pricing, and delivery timelinesCollaborate with internal teams on pricing strategies for custom and specialty industrial or manufacturing productsMaintain organized documentation of all sales activities, customer communications, and order details using CRM or ERP systemsResearch and identify new market opportunities, proactively pursuing prospects in the manufacturing, distribution, and industrial sectorsResolve customer issues including order changes, returns, and credits while maintaining positive client relationshipsParticipate in occasional site visits, industry events, and trade shows to strengthen customer connections and promote company offeringsContribute to overall sales targets by meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly revenue goals Qualifications: Associate or Bachelors degreeMinimum of two years of sales, inside sales, or account management experience in a B2B environmentStrong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first approachProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PublisherHighly organized with excellent multitasking and time management abilitiesAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams Desired Qualifications: Experience in distributor sales, industrial sales, or technical product salesFamiliarity with manufacturing processes, materials, or supply chain operationsKnowledge of sales forecasting, budgeting, and contract coordinationHands-on experience with ERP systems for order entry and customer data managementProven ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships in a competitive market
