Per-Diem Physical Therapist
Interim HealthCare is currently seeking a Per-Diem Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in the Auburn, Maine. This opportunity also includes the potential to travel to other parts of the state, within our service area.
This is a part-time, per-visit position within the healthcare/medical industry. As a Per-Diem PT, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, individualized physical therapy services to our patients on an as-needed basis. This is an individual contributor role and requires professionalism, attention to detail, and strong compassion for patient care.
Compensation & Benefits:
The Per-Diem PT will receive compensation of $65 per visit/$85 per admission, paid weekly. In addition, this position offers the opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team within the Interim HealthCare franchise. Flexible scheduling options are available, as well as potential opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Perform physical therapy evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans for patients.
- Administer therapies and exercises to improve patients' mobility, strength, and range of motion.
- Monitor and document patient progress, including any changes or updates to the treatment plan.
- Collaborate with the patient's physician, family members, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and techniques for in house exercises and self-management.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as professional and ethical standards of conduct.
Requirements:
- Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Minimum of 1-year experience as a Physical Therapist preferred.
- CPR certification.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Availability to work weekends and/or evenings on an as-needed basis.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
