Job Summary

As the MAVERIC Collaborative Coordinator you will be responsible for taking the initiative to plan and implement programs for the MAVERIC Collaborative, while supporting the collaborative's day-to-day operations, utilizing specialized knowledge of subject area as available. The MAVERIC Collaborative seeks to pursue innovation, education and industry/government/academia partnerships to accelerate technology advancements in automotive semiconductors.

Responsibilities*

  • Planning and coordinating communications with both internal and external stakeholders to shape and coalesce members? ideas and partners? engagement.
  • Independently monitoring expenditures related to individual initiatives to ensure alignment with sponsor's budget, while coordinating with appropriate Research Administrators.
  • Coordinating research team activities and gathering information that is necessary for sponsorship reporting, by developing timelines, meeting schedules, data gathering, report drafting, editing and proofreading.
  • Coordinating meetings, retreats, and workshops of key stakeholders by establishing agendas, preparing communication, and using appropriate communication styles for each different constituency.
  • Providing support in deploying MAVERIC sponsored initiatives, and pursuing MAVERIC sponsorship opportunities.
  • Independently triaging and resolving operational issues
    • Maintaining records
    • Coordinating calendars and scheduling meetings with collaborators
    • Coordinating travel arrangements and itineraries for international visitors Processing travel and non-travel reimbursements
  • Organize and administer special projects, activities, and initiatives aligned with the MAVERIC collaborative:
    • Identifying timelines for projects from start to completion
    • Identify relevant external and internal partners and coordinate participation
    • Tracking project metrics and making improvement recommendations as needed
Additional responsibilities and projects may be identified as relevant to the mission of the Collaborative.

Required Qualifications*

  • A Bachelor's degree
  • Three of more years of relevant experience in administrative or project management roles.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions, exercise initiative, and function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and make decisions that impact the entire organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and a courteous and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to set priorities, multi-task, meet deadlines with attention to detail and take ownership of job responsibilities.
  • Experience in proofing processes against unforeseen situations.
  • Good attendance record and strong work ethic.
  • Strong computer and Internet abilities including demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office and Google.
  • Experience in handling matters of a highly visible and often confidential nature.

Modes of Work

Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.

Additional Information

This is a term-limited position through December 31, 2028 with possible renewal based on funding extension.
