Marketing and Brand Director

GritCycle is seeking a dynamic and trend driven Marketing and Brand Director who excels at strategic brand development with hands-on content creation to drive growth by producing powerful copy and visually engaging content that connects with our audience. We need someone who lives and breathes content trends and knows how to keep viewers hooked. An ideal candidate will manage branding efforts and strategies, along with creating engaging and informative content initiatives for a cohesive and compelling representation of our brand.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Daily, active management of GritCycle’s social media accounts.
  • Create and manage content for social media, including text posts, videos, and graphics.
  • Responsible for filming in-studio content at all four of our studio locations that captures the essence of our community and brand.
  • Monitor, listen, and respond to users in the voice of our brand, while cultivating leads. Respond to comments and questions, and interact with the online community in a timely manner.
  • Responsible to maintain the company's reputation on social media.
  • Manage GritCycle content calendar.
  • Develop strategic short and long term posting content.
  • Design, create, present and pitch social campaigns, monitoring and reporting on their effectiveness to the corporate team at weekly meetings.
  • Ensure all marketing and online information remains accurate and up to date as company offerings change and expand.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Lead the production and distribution of new content for blog and marketing funnels that strongly reflects the GritCycle brand.
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written).
  • Create copy and graphics for email marketing campaigns.
  • Create copy for text and email marketing funnels.
  • Design graphics for social media, print media, visual media, and retail branding that are on brand and cohesive with our marketing strategies.
  • Create and implement strategies to increase brand recognition, website traffic, and follower engagement.
  • Conduct and share meaningful data analysis to measure the success of various marketing initiatives and help shape future marketing strategies with an ROI.
  • Analyze key metrics and adjust strategies to meet business goals.
  • Provide regular reports on social media performance and suggest improvements.
  • Monitor metrics and analyze data to determine the success of campaigns.

  • Headshots and in-class photoshoots with approved outside contracted photographers/videographers.
  • Assist with additional related duties as needed.

Time: 40 hours per week, office and studio hours will vary week to week. On average, standard work week with an adjusted schedule. Must be available on weekends and evenings for capturing content for studio events. Weekly in studio presence is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as marketing specialist or in a similar role.
  • Strong social media video and photography skills.
  • Strong Canva and/or Adobe software needed to design and create graphics.
  • Strong email marketing skills utilizing Mailchimp or similar platforms.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements and market research methods.
  • Independent, well organized, with superior attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects.

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year
