Job Summary:
The Sr. Director of Omnichannel Growth Marketing will lead the Growth Marketing team for our CPG brands in the pet food industry, developing and executing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and long-term growth across digital and traditional channels. This role is responsible for developing an omnichannel marketing vision that blends top-of-funnel brand-building with targeted, data-driven growth initiatives. Working closely with the Brand, Sales, and Marketplace teams, the Sr. Director of Growth Marketing will be instrumental in identifying new growth opportunities, optimizing marketing investments, and supporting the company's objectives of increasing market share, driving new product sales, and cultivating customer loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and lead an omnichannel growth marketing strategy that integrates brand-building, customer acquisition, and retention to support both revenue growth and long-term brand loyalty. Set and monitor key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns across multiple channels.
- Campaign Development and Execution: Oversee the creation and execution of high-impact marketing campaigns, including paid media, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and influencer partnerships. Ensure alignment with overall business goals and tailor campaigns to target both new and existing customers.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Leverage data analytics to refine targeting, measure campaign effectiveness, and optimize marketing spend. Regularly review and analyze performance metrics to adjust strategies and improve ROI.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Brand, Sales, and Marketplace teams to ensure a cohesive brand message across all touchpoints. Collaborate on new product launches, promotions, and initiatives aimed at increasing market share and brand visibility across online and offline channels.
- Team Development and Leadership: Lead and inspire the Growth Marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. Provide mentorship and guidance to drive performance, develop skill sets, and grow the team's expertise.
- Agency Management: Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors, ensuring they deliver on performance expectations, timelines, and budget. Provide clear guidance and feedback to optimize agency outputs and ensure alignment with brand and business objectives.
- Identify New Growth Opportunities: Proactively seek out and evaluate emerging marketing channels, digital platforms, and industry trends. Identify and prioritize new growth opportunities, scaling successful initiatives to support the company's top-of-funnel and bottom-of-funnel objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, or performance marketing, with a strong track record in omnichannel CPG or eCommerce environments.
- Proven success in scaling customer acquisition and retention strategies across various digital and traditional channels.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing analytics platforms and tools to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience building and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong experience in managing external agencies and vendors.
- Highly collaborative, with the ability to work cross-functionally and drive alignment among multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a strategic mindset and creative approach to problem-solving.
