Position Overview: D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Sales Representative. The primary responsibility is managing the sales process while providing excellent customer service. The role involves continuously sourcing new customers, assisting them in finding and designing their dream home, and ensuring a smooth sales process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Effectively communicate DR Horton’s value proposition, product vision, and capabilities to potential customers.
  • Understand customer goals and challenges, establishing DR Horton as the best solution available.
  • Overcome objections and close for the sale.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of transactions from sale through loan, options, and construction.
  • Source new sales opportunities continually.
  • Create and provide a marketing plan to management for establishing new customer relationships.
  • Network and perform outreach to realtors.
  • Manage time efficiently, meet sales goals, and work effectively with team members.
  • Maintain and expand database of prospects.
  • Attend sales meetings.
  • Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner, enhancing the company’s goodwill and profit.
  • Develop and maintain good rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members.
  • Execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree or 2 years related experience.
  • Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and ability to drive at any time.
  • Ability to utilize DRH Sales applications on smart devices.
  • Ability to carry out instructions in written, oral form, or via DRH Sales applications.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email.
  • Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Regular exposure to outside weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Licensing requirements vary by state.
  • Prior CRM software experience.
  • Previous sales experience, knowledge of the industry preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strongly motivated.
