Quality Patient Care Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Quality Coordinator is a vital contributor to the Quality Improvement (QI) Team with the goal of improving quality patient care through process efficiency, clinical efficiency and cost. The Quality Coordinator is integral in executing campaigns to promote, educate, and empower patients to receive healthcare services that fit their individual needs. They are responsible for providing data sources, data extraction, analysis, benchmarking, process improvement, and measurement of outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- One year experience in healthcare – health information technology, quality improvement, or patient services- preferred; experience working in a health center (IHS, FQHC, or similar)is preferred.
- Demonstrated skill in clearly presenting data.
- Intermediate computer application with MS Office, including Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Must have strong problem solving and organizational skills.
- Must have excellent attention to detail, strong follow-through and ability to work independently.
- Current and in good standing: Driver's license, vehicle insurance, and DMV printout.
