Digital Strategist

We are a Los Angeles-based international beauty manufacturer is seeking a dynamic Digital Strategist. As an innovative company creating trend-setting beauty products for top global retailers, we need a visionary who can propel our flagship brand, Ardell and other brands in our portfolio to new heights in the digital sphere.
Background:
We're looking for a data-driven expert who lives and breathes cutting-edge digital strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exponentially growing brand followings and engagement across multiple platforms. You'll be the driving force behind in crafting strategies that not only captivate our audience but also translate into tangible business growth, all while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence with our teams.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute innovative, data-backed social strategies that significantly increase our brand's following, engagement, and overall digital footprint.
· Leverage deep understanding of platform algorithms to optimize content performance and maximize reach across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
· Lead, mentor, and manage the teams in-house content creators, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development.
· Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging creativity while maintaining high standards of performance.
· Lead the ideation and execution of viral-worthy campaigns that align with brand initiatives, product launches, and retailer support while pushing creative boundaries.
· Analyze complex data and competitive analysis sets to extract actionable insights, continuously refining our approach to stay ahead of the digital curve.
· Spearhead cross-functional collaborations to ensure our social media strategy integrates seamlessly with broader marketing initiatives and drives measurable business outcomes.
· Stay at the forefront of trends, tools, and best practices, constantly experimenting with new approaches to keep our brands at the cutting edge.
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a demonstrable history of exponentially growing brand followings and engagement.
· 3+ years of experience managing and mentoring a team.
· Proven expertise in analytics, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.
· Deep understanding of digital algorithms and how to leverage them for maximum impact.
· Experience working in fast-paced startup environments and ability to thrive under pressure.
· Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing talent and building high-performing teams.
· Proficiency in a wide range of social media management and analytics tools (Dash Hudson, Tribe Dynamics, Lefty, Tagger)
· Strong creative vision coupled with analytical prowess.
· Outstanding communication skills and ability to present complex strategies to diverse stakeholders.
· Passion for beauty trends and ability to translate them into compelling digital content.
Required:
· Portfolio showcasing successful digital growth strategies and campaigns for beauty brands.
· Case studies demonstrating significant follower growth and engagement increases for previous clients.
