Smith Industries, Inc., one of the oldest and largest scrap metal recycling companies on the East Coast, is looking to add to our team by hiring a new Outside Sales/ Buyer Representative.

Since 1898, our company has been at the forefront of recycling, continuously innovating within our industry to produce the finest mill-ready products available throughout the world.

Our network of 20 locations throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region allow us to take exceptional care of our customers' needs, wherever their job might be.

The Buyer position is the backbone of our company. With a heavy focus on outside sales, our Buyers are responsible for procuring new accounts while simultaneously managing current accounts. Buyers are also tasked with grading customers’ scrap metal and providing price quotes for their material. We train Buyers at the beginning of employment allowing them to have all the knowledge necessary to carry out their job.

Additional compensation includes vehicle allowance and company phone.
