As a Patient Coordinator, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and seamless experience from appointment scheduling to check-out.

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor
  • Scheduling appointments and coordinating patient appointments with healthcare providers
  • Verifying patient information and insurance coverage
  • Answering phone calls and addressing patient inquiries
  • Collecting payments and processing insurance claims
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
  • Assisting with administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting or customer service role is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus
