Job Role:

The Certified Medical Assistant will provide critical support to our healthcare providers, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient operations. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Assisting Providers: Assist healthcare providers with in-office procedures, such as administering injections and performing tests.
  2. Documenting Patient Care: Document patient plans of care, test results, and examination findings in the medical record, as directed by the healthcare provider.
  3. Scheduling Testing: Schedule patients for diagnostic testing, follow up on test results, and communicate with patients regarding their plan of care.
  4. Maintaining Equipment: Prepares, cleans, and sterilizes instruments, maintains equipment, and keeps patient exam rooms clean, stocked, and orderly.
  5. Educating Patients: Educate patients on their treatment plans, medications, and other relevant health information.

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent Required
  • One (1) year minimum experience in a Clinical setting.
  • CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) required. If certified, the certification must be maintained.
  • Possesses willingness to accept orders and to perform repetitive tasks.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

Compensation:

$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
