Manufacturing Engineering Manager (Must come from an automotive tier 1 or 2 company)

GENERAL SUMMARY
Responsible for ensuring that department goals of performance, projects and engineering
duties are fulfilled. Answer technical questions, managing budgets for projects, training
new employees, and working with various other departments.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
A. Manage multiple projects budgets.
B. Supervise multiple teams and projects.
C. Planning and executing strategies for completing projects on time.
D. Review Progressive and Transfer tooling designs.
E. Follow new tool builds and development tool loops along with toolroom team.
F. Researching and developing designs and products.
G. Determining the need for training and talent development.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• Associates Degree in related field.
• Mechanical Engineering Technologist or Mechanical Engineer.
• Tool Makers with Design Experience will also be considered.
Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of 3-D CAD design experience.
• Minimum 5 years in stamping or related field.
• Minimum 5 years managing experience.
Personal/Technical Skills:
• Proficient in use of 3-D CAD programs, preferred NX.
• Self-motivated, self-directed and able to make and meet specific goals in the Engineering
Department
• Possess computer skills including, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CAD.
• Problem Solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills
Language Skills:
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

Computer/Software:
• Proficiency using industry-standard software including: 3 D CAD, preferred NX and Microsoft Office
