Manufacturing Plant Supervisor

North Coast Container is a leading manufacturer of industrial steel drum packaging solutions. We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Plant Manager to oversee our Portland, OR facility.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or a related field, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience. A high school diploma with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business management, manufacturing, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee continuous improvement, quality, team development, discipline, safety OSHA compliance, and profitability.
- Manage a team of 25 unionized and 2 non-union members.
- Develop and implement lean tools, such as standard work, gemba walks, and rapid improvement events.
- Interpret reports, financial statements, and other indicators to manage the plant budget.
- Communicate with sales teams and customers regarding raw material and production time availability.
- Interview, select, and make personnel decisions, as well as administer discipline.
- Conduct one-on-one coaching and performance reviews.
- Hold managers and supervisors accountable for hours efficiency, unit production, quality, and ERS compliance.
