Benefits & Compensation Specialist

Are you a benefits and compensation wizard looking to make a real impact? We’re on the lookout for a Benefits & Compensation Specialist to be the go-to person in our HR department
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee and enhance our employee benefits programs (health, retirement, wellness—you name it).
- Coordinate our annual open enrollment with flair, including developing materials and communication strategies.
- Resolve employee benefits inquiries and issues with a smile.
- Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate processing of employer contributions and payroll deductions.
- Process employee changes in the Paycom HRIS system, including enrollments, terminations, and claims.
- Maintain meticulous employee records and benefits files.
- Stay on top of regulations and market trends to keep us compliant and competitive.
- Lead wellness programs and challenges for employees.
- Maintain and manage the HR information system to ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare, maintain, and update employee data in the Paycom, HRIS system.
- Ensure compliance by overseeing audits, gathering data, and generating reports.
- Develop and implement compensation strategies that align with our organizational goals.
- Conduct job evaluations and participate in salary surveys to maintain internal equity and market competitiveness.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years in benefits administration, with at least 1 year in compensation management.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HR Management Systems, especially Paycom, and advanced Excel skills.
- A knack for communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, and relevant compensation laws and regulations.
