Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWestern Safety Associates is seeking an experienced sales representative for the Central Valley, CA territory (includes Bakersfield and surrounding areas) to maintain established accounts as well as develop new accounts. Our sales reps should be true professional resources for our customers while being personable enough to develop and sustain a positive rapport. Regular in-person field visits are required so must live in or around the area.
 
 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
 ● 5+ years outside sales experience with clear evidence of territorial development capabilities, as well as new account cultivation required.
 ● Experience and knowledge of industrial, safety and construction market.
 ● Experience in the industrial distribution industry is highly desired.
 ● Clear evidence of existing account expansion and ability to establish relationships with current customer base.
 ● Valuable Qualities: Consistent client follow-up, pro-activity, highly organized with excellent communication/presentation skills.
 ● Committed to always representing WSA and our manufacturers with the highest degree of integrity and professionalism.
 ● Competency in Microsoft Office programs
 ● Preferred: Bachelors Degree, established industry contacts, some experience with CRM platforms, safety certifications and experience (QSSP, OSHA 30, CSP, etc).

 Pay: $75,000 annual base paid semi-monthly + uncapped commission.
