Senior Technical Product Manager, AWS EC2 As a Senior Technical Product Manager for AWS Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and technical roadmap for one of AWS's core cloud computing services. You will work closely with engineering, business, and customer teams to identify customer needs, translate them into product requirements, and deliver innovative solutions that exceed customer expectations.
Key job responsibilities:
Serve as the technical subject matter expert for the EC2 service, with a deep understanding of its underlying architecture, features, and capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and support, to gather customer insights, define product strategy, and prioritize the product roadmap.
Translate complex technical requirements into clear and actionable product specifications, ensuring alignment across the organization.
Continuously monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement and innovation.
Effectively communicate product vision, roadmap, and key initiatives to both internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership.
Act as a technical advocate for customers, representing their needs and challenges to the product development team.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the broader AWS ecosystem and how EC2 integrates with other AWS services.
Provide technical guidance and support to the sales and professional services teams to assist with complex customer engagements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute successful product launches, driving adoption and customer satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager.
Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS, or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market).
BS degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer-centric product requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA.
Extensive knowledge of cloud computing architectures, virtualization technologies, and distributed systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Experience working and thriving in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Passion for innovation and a desire to push the boundaries of cloud computing technology.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $137,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $236,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
