Marketing & Ecommerce Coordinator

Located at company headquarters in Old Town Bluffton, SC **This is NOT a remote position

Spartina 449 is looking for an excellent communicator with a passion for fashion Marketing and E-Commerce. In this data focused role, you will be responsible for customer facing product details. You will be a good fit for this role if you are a creative problem solver and like to take initiative.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the accuracy and timeliness of new products launches, including QA of the website upon launch.
  • Collect and distribute product data for catalogs and e-commerce upload sheets.
  • Assist Senior E-commerce Manager in Shopify merchandising and updates.
  • Execute Shopify/backend operation updates as needed under direction of Senior E-Commerce Manager, including price updates, tags, product groupings, preorder, etc.
  • Maintain weekly and monthly reports including E-Commerce assortment sheets/weekly performance of E-Commerce sales, master index of upcoming products, and Marketing sample status.
  • Plan and schedule content for social media including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest; including monitoring comments, messages, and influencer relationships.
  • Carry out tactical elements of Marketing & E-Commerce plans.
  • Help coordinate photoshoots needs in cooperation with Creative and Marketing, including coordination of samples, communication of sample status, and assisting on location as needed.
  • Review all product files to ensure consistency and accuracy of branded content, including E-Commerce upload sheets, direct and wholesale catalogs, and social media.
  • Coordinate shipments of samples between Marketing, Creative, and Product Development as needed.
  • Work in cooperation with Marketing and E-Commerce teams to ensure the visual presentations related to Marketing materials are consistent and meet all brand guidelines.
  • Track, organize, and hand off product samples.
  • Ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Core Competencies and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.
  • 1-2 years experience in Shopify Plus or other E-Commerce platform preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator/interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast past environment independently and within a team to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Willingness to learn and grow with Spartina 449.

Desired Experience:

  • 1-2 years experience in E-Commerce, Fashion Marketing, or related field.
  • Have a broad understanding of brand, product offerings, and competitive landscape of the marketplace.
  • Creative writing skills.
  • Experience conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth in Marketing and E-Commerce.
