Concordia is a leading provider in the transportation, logistics, and freight forwarding industry. We are looking for a dedicated, self-motivated, and goal-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for sales and building lasting client relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview:

The Outside Sales Representative will be the face of Concordia to customers, responsible for attracting, developing, and maintaining business opportunities. You will play a key role in expanding our customer base, meeting sales targets, and strengthening existing relationships. This is a full-time, dynamic role requiring the ability to travel and meet customers face-to-face, as well as work effectively with other sales personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction: Serve as the front-line representative of Concordia, building and maintaining relationships with current and potential clients.
  • Sales Growth: Identify and acquire new business opportunities while nurturing and expanding your existing customer base.
  • Sales Presentations: Arrange and conduct face-to-face meetings and conference calls to discuss service offerings and create tailored proposals.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Prepare competitive quotes and negotiate favorable terms for both the client and the company, driving successful transactions.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales goals and key performance indicators set by management.
  • Travel & Territory Management: Travel a minimum of 3 days a week to service your territory, building connections and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow sales team members to share insights, strategies, and best practices.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in transportation, logistics, or freight forwarding.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred but not required if combined with relevant experience.
  • Sales Experience: Proven success in managing an outside sales territory, including generating leads, securing new clients, and closing deals.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present and negotiate with potential clients.
  • Professionalism: A confident, polished, and credible demeanor is a must. The ability to represent the company with professionalism and a strong work ethic is essential.
  • Travel: Ability to travel 60% of the time within the designated region.
  • Team Player: Must work well independently as well as collaboratively within the sales team to achieve organizational goals.
