Summary: Under the supervision of CEO lead Risk Management (RM) activities and assist in delivering healthcare and related services at all AHSFHC clinic sites in a systemized manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Chief Dental Officer (CDO) & CEOs on achieving risk management goals for the clinic.
  • Actively participate in RM Meetings – serve as health center risk manager.
  • Work in coordination with Credentialing Verification Organization (CVO) – for e.g., MedTrainer to resolve outstanding credentialing issues.
  • Serve as a liaison between CVO and providers at AHSFHC.
  • Provide credentialing files and status updates to CMO and CDO regularly before monthly providers QAI meeting.
  • Proactively resolve hospitals related credentialing tasks.
  • Work with billing team and ensure payors credentialing is up to date.
  • Respond to credentialing requests from outside stakeholders and staff in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and submit required applications and reports to government entities including but not limited to FTCA application, risk management report etc.
  • Collaborate with HR, CMO and CDO to ensure that all FTCA related training requirements are fulfilled. Report progress on FTCA requirements in quarterly RM meetings.
  • Attend outside meetings as directed by the supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Word.
  • Needs to be able to work well under pressure with multiple deadlines.
  • Consistent work history in a support role required.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, coding, data storage, analysis and technology is preferred
  • Master’s degree in health-related field (MPH, MHA etc.) is preferred.
  • Candidate should be fluent in English and bilingual specifically Asian language is preferred.
  • 2-4 years’ work experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) space is preferred.
  • Understanding of the medical and administrative issues involved in the management of the day- to-day operations of an FQHC.
  • A willingness to work independently and in a team context in a professional manner.
  • Must have reliable transportation to commute to different clinic sites.
