Marketing Manager, US Events

This role is pivotal in creating and implementing event strategies that align with our commercial goals and contribute to the growth of our business. The Marketing Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all events are driven flawlessly, delivering exceptional experiences for attendees and increasing return on investment. This person possesses excellent tactical, decision-making, communication, and organizational skills.
ResponsibilitiesEvents- Work with the Director of Field Marketing and key customers in Sales & Marketing to develop, plan, and implement ESW's events strategy in the US. Provide recommendations and insights on which events will yield desired business outcomes.
- Lead all aspects of event planning, including budgeting, logistics, vendor management, venue selection, and on-site execution.
- Ensure each event adheres to allocated budget and own the tracking and management of all related expenses.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and complete promotional campaigns that drive event attendance and engagement, including digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, and partnerships. Oversee the creation of event-related content, such as promotional materials, presentations, and post-event reports.
- Work with the Director of Field Marketing to develop event strategy, support contract negotiation, manage all event logistics with external parties and internal partners.
- Build and maintain relationships with external vendors, partners, and sponsors to ensure successful event execution.
- Analyze event performance, gather attendee feedback, and track and report on event metrics to measure business impact. Provide analysis & recommendations to Marketing leadership including insights for continuous improvement of future events.
- Manage the planning and execution of ESW-hosted commercial events, such as Partner Summits, Client Advisory Board events, and work with customers on to provide support on other corporate events where required.
- Some regional travel required, most of the events we sponsor take place in New York, Las Vegas, or California.
- Proven experience of successfully managing events for companies in the tech, e-commerce, and/or retail space, with a proven track record of planning and performing successful events.
- Working knowledge of project management tools like Monday or Asana. Knowledge of digital marketing tools (e.g. Hubspot), CRM systems and event management tools (Cvent) also beneficial.
- Proven experience managing annual budgets of over $1 million.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, communication, or similar field of study.
- Extreme attention to detail and superior organizational skills. You make sure every i is dotted and every t is crossed.
- Committed and strong project management skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and the capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Work 2 – 3 days per week from our NYC office at the World Trade Center.
- Must be able to work a variety of hours and in some cases, weekends, in order to accommodate event schedules.
The salary range for the position is 82,900 - 103,600 USD per year.
