Sales Specialist - Janitorial Products

Are you a dynamic, results-driven sales professional looking to make an impact in a growing market? Join our client's team as a Sales Specialist specializing in janitorial and breakroom products You'll have the opportunity to drive new business, nurture existing relationships, and provide top-tier customer service across your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop & Grow Accounts: Proactively acquire new janitorial accounts while expanding relationships within our current customer base.
  • Collaborate & Strategize: Work closely with our Office Products Specialists to maximize market penetration for janitorial products.
  • Targeted Sales Calls: Plan and execute effective sales calls with clear goals, tailoring your approach to meet customer needs.
  • Leverage Product Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of our janitorial and breakroom offerings, using this knowledge to deliver value-driven solutions.
  • Sales Growth: Consistently achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the territory.

What We're Looking For:

  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and continuously refine your sales skills.
  • Professionalism: Represent our company with a professional demeanor, both in-person and in writing.
  • Accountability: Accurately complete all sales paperwork, maintain CRM records, and stay organized.

Additional Duties:

  • Collaborate with our janitorial support team to develop and implement programs that increase market share.
  • Provide hands-on assistance with customer installations and, as needed, deliver smaller orders to rural clients.
  • Attend relevant sales meetings, manufacturer training, and conference calls to stay informed and engaged.

What You Bring:

  • 1-2 years of sales experience in the janitorial industry preferred, with a proven track record in business development.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset to build lasting relationships.
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work independently, managing your own schedule and priorities.
  • Travel required for approximately 85% of the time; valid driver’s license and good driving record needed.
