We are seeking a dynamic Accounting Manager to lead our billing and collections process, drive the achievement of our Days Past Due KPI, and manage key financial processes. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient cash flow and maintaining excellent client relationships through timely and accurate billing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, Manage, and Hold Accountable (LMA): Supervise and develop the billing and collections team. Provide guidance, performance evaluations, and ensure accountability for achieving team and company financial goals.
- Finance Core Process Manager: Oversee the core financial processes, ensuring they are efficient, compliant, and aligned with company policies.
- Lead Billing and Collections Activities:Oversee the entire billing cycle, including invoicing, collections, and dispute resolution, ensuring all processes are timely and efficient.
- Ensure Accurate Payment Application:Monitor and enforce timely and accurate posting of payments, minimizing discrepancies and ensuring alignment with client accounts.
- Manage Checklists for Financial Operations:Responsible for completing and overseeing the daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial checklists to ensure accuracy and timeliness in all processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting (required)
- Proven experience leading and managing teams (required)
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in high-volume, high- intensity enterprise billing and colllections.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in the logistics industry is advantageous but not required
