Commercial Real Estate Manager

Medix Infusion is seeking a highly motivated, team oriented Commercial Real Estate Manager who will play a critical role in expanding our infusion suite locations and supporting relocation strategies. This role will be responsible for the full cycle of real estate processes, from site identification to contract negotiations, supporting Medix Infusion’s long-term growth objectives. This position requires travel across the U.S. to evaluate potential sites and relocations.
As a highly collaborative team player, you will work closely with leadership and contribute strategic value to our real estate strategy and growth.
Medix Infusion is a technology-driven healthcare platform dedicated to enhancing patient care and access to infusion therapies. We specialize in disease management and infusion pharmacy services for chronic and acutely ill patients, especially those in underserved communities. We offer personalized home and in-suite infusion therapies, ensuring convenience and comfort. Our expert team provides a comprehensive range of treatments, including anti-infectives, biologics, IVIG, and other injectables, making each patient’s journey as smooth as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze markets to prioritize location development and placement.
- Oversee and manage a broker network with deep market knowledge, aligning opportunities with company criteria.
- Support ongoing real estate operations, including renewals, relocations, and lease issues.
- Maintain a system for tracking critical lease dates and ensure timely execution of lease options and renewals (familiarity with Visual Lease software is a plus).
- Evaluate existing leases for risk, improvement opportunities, and compliance with corporate leasing policies.
- Lead the entire site development process, from selection to negotiation and final approvals, ensuring alignment with Medix Infusion’s objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve Medix Infusion’s real estate and business goals.
Required Qualifications
- 2 - 5 years of experience in a fast-paced corporate commercial real estate environment (experience in medical office leasing is a plus).
- Proven success in identifying, securing, and developing sites across multiple markets.
- In-depth knowledge of the real estate development process, including broker management, contract negotiation, demographic analysis, and site planning.
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, legal counsel, and external partners.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience in creating and delivering presentations.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- High ethical standards and professionalism.
- Understanding of healthcare real estate regulatory guidelines, including Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS) compliance.
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
