Indelac Controls, Inc. is seeking a motivated and experienced Rotary Electric Actuator Sales Engineer to join team located in Florence, KY. Indelac is a family-owned company specializing in valve and damper automation solutions for many industries such as oil, gas, water, waste water, chemical and petrochemical just to mention a few. This role is crucial in expanding our presence in these markets.

As an Indelac Sales Engineer, you will utilize your technical knowledge and strong interpersonal skills to engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions that drive successful outcomes. Your expertise will not only enhance customer satisfaction but also contribute significantly to our sales targets rigorous demands of the industries we service, including oil, gas, water treatment, and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow sales and market share.
  • Provide technical support to clients by understanding their applications and recommending appropriate actuator solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers to showcase the benefits and features of our electric actuators.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to relay client feedback and improve product offerings.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and negotiations to secure contracts and agreements.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats, adjusting sales strategies accordingly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sales, or a related Field.
  • Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the electric actuator or valve industry.
  • Strong understanding of valve and damper applications and operations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with clients.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and propose value-added solutions.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach and the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel within the United States for client meetings and site visits.
