Job DescriptionJob Description

Federal Injury Centers of West Virginia is seeking a part-time or PRN Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform federal workers’ compensation exams. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a specialized field, evaluating federal employees who have sustained work-related injuries, in a flexible, part-time role with minimal weekly commitment set at your schedule and an opportunity to make extra money for minimal time required.

Duties

  • Perform comprehensive workers' compensation exams for federal employees, documenting all findings and preparing detailed reports.
  • Collaborate with the supervising physician (MD/DO) to ensure that all exams and documentation meet the required standards for federal workers' compensation cases.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, including diagnostic tests, physical evaluations, and reviewing medical histories, to support the appropriate diagnosis and treatment plans for work-related injuries.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to organizational protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and supervising physicians to ensure high-quality care and service delivery.

Qualifications

-All training will be provided, no experience necessary
- Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and utilization management
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Types: Part-time, PRN

Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 per week

Work Location: In person
