Our client is looking for a Accounts Payable Assistant / Front Office Admin who strives for excellence and an opportunity to gain new experience within a fun and growing construction company in NW Portland. We are seeking a team player who drives continuous improvement through best practices. Your ability to operate in a cross functional and collaborative environment with frequent interruptions is key. Are you ready to be part of a team where you have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and where your contribution makes a measurable difference to an established and successful local company? This role will be supporting the Accounts Payable function along with other administrative projects and reports to the Accounting Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with Accounts Payable process, including compliance review and check runs
• Review invoices for accuracy, address discrepancies, and enter into accounting system for processing
• Answer incoming phone calls, process daily mail, and maintain appearance of shared office spaces
• Assist project managers, including entering new subcontracts into the system
Qualifications:
• Ability to prioritize daily responsibilities and multiple projects efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate strong interpersonal relationship skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to approach challenges in a solutions-oriented manner
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to pay attention to detail with accuracy in a deadline driven environment
