Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join their team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the company’s accounting and finance functions while ensuring accurate and timely billing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and process invoices for products and services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and client agreements.
  • Review billing data and resolve discrepancies or billing errors in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with clients to answer inquiries, clarify billing issues, and provide support as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of accounts receivable, payment status, and customer billing history.
  • Prepare and send reminders for overdue payments and work with the collections team as needed.
  • Process credit memos, adjustments, and returns in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and monthly billing summaries for management.
  • Collaborate with other departments (sales, customer service, etc.) to ensure accurate and efficient billing processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and company financial information.



  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Billing Clerk, Accounts Receivable Clerk, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of billing procedures and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A team player with the ability to work independently when necessary.
