Hermann Transportation is looking for a full-time Freight Broker to join our company located in Monmouth Junction, NJ. Hermann offers a competitive salary, medical, dental, and vision coverage, and 401k matching program.

The Freight Broker will work within our Logistics & Brokerage Team to coordinate cargo movements across the Northeast.

Responsibilities:

• TL Feight brokers experience is a must
• Works with customers and carrier partners to ensure satisfactory deliveries
• Handles sales, rate negotiations, and billing
• Manages customer accounts and solves problems
• Performs data entry functions
• Tracks and traces cargo
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, related field, or equivalent experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Customer Management Systems
• Data entry skills with attention to detail
• Experience working in a Customer Service role
• Transportation industry experience preferred
