We are seeking a meticulous Medical Biller/Collections Specialist to be a part of our team in the Healthcare industry. This role is based in East Brunswick, New Jersey, and offers a long term contract employment opportunity. As a Medical Biller/Collections Specialist, you will be tasked with managing billing functions, dealing with accounts receivable, and utilizing various accounting software systems.


Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process medical billing functions

• Manage and maintain accurate accounts receivable records

• Handle authorizations, appeals, and other related billing functions

• Utilize accounting software systems for data management

• Operate Allscripts and Cerner Technologies for processing and data exchange

• Work with the Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) system for data management

• Manage and resolve customer inquiries related to billing and accounts

• Monitor patient accounts and take appropriate actions as necessary

• Handle EHR SYSTEM for patient data management

• Perform various benefit functions related to patient accounts.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
• Familiarity with Allscripts is a must-have
• Knowledge of Cerner Technologies is beneficial
• Experience with Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) is necessary
• Ability to use EHR SYSTEM effectively is critical
• Strong competencies in Accounts Receivable (AR) are essential
• Expertise in handling Appeals is expected
• Experience with Authorizations is required
• Understanding of Benefit Functions is important
• Proficiency in Billing Functions is crucial
