Job Description

We are seeking experienced mechanical assemblers with expertise in complex assemblies, cleanroom PPE, and comfort working with chemicals in a controlled environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong previous experience mechanical assembly, particularly with vacuum and pump systems, and will be committed to maintaining high-quality standards in a cleanroom setting.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical components and systems in a cleanroom environment.
  • Assemble vacuum and pump systems.
  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to assemble products.
  • Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Conduct assembly leak checks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to comply with cleanroom standards.
  • Document assembly processes and results accurately.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve any assembly issues.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and cleanroom guidelines at all times.
Essential Skills
  • Assembly of mechanical components and systems
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
  • Experience with mechanical assembly and power tools
  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment
  • Ability to perform leak checks on assemblies
  • Electrical assembly and wiring skills
  • Inspection and quality assurance skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred
  • Strong documentation and communication skills

Work Environment

This position is based in a temperature-controlled facility where assemblers will work in a cleanroom environment. The shift will be Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM during training. After training, candidates can choose between the front half (Sunday - Wednesday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM) or the back half (Wednesday - Saturday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM) of the week.

This is a Contract position based out of Hillsboro, Oregon.
