Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Housing Choice Voucher Program Specialist is responsible for implementing the Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP) in compliance with HUD regulations. Key duties include managing contracts between landlords and participants, calculating utility allowances, conducting certification interviews, processing payments to landlords, and assisting with property inspections.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Associate’s Degree in relevant fields.
- Experience: Desired in case management, property management, or similar roles.
- Certifications: Must obtain Housing Choice Voucher Specialist and Rent Calculation certifications.

Skills Required:
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and housing software.
- Knowledge of HUD regulations and local landlord/tenant laws.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

The role requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively, effectively manage program-related tasks, and develop relationships with stakeholders.
