Job Description

At Intelecox-inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the setup and maintenance of all electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on equipment used in the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to set up and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on production equipment, including the maintenance of all electrical systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on designated production equipment as specified in the PM Program to ensure smooth operation.
  • Assist Engineering with the installation, debugging, and startup of production equipment.
  • Maintain equipment logs, documenting downtime, maintenance issues, and process changes.
  • Responsible for mixing silicone/solvent-based formulation used for needle lubrication. Uses a viscometer to ensure solids percentage remains within acceptable parameters.
  • Support Engineering in maintaining and adjusting vision systems within defined parameters.
  • Ensure all safety, environmental procedures, and Quality System Requirements (QSR) are maintained.
  • Provide Production Supervisors with relevant equipment and process performance information, including production and waste data.
  • Lead and guide other associates in repairing production equipment.
  • Coordinate and support other maintenance activities as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in an electronic manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working with automation control software
  • Associates degree in Mechatronics preferred
  • Experience in the medical device industry is preferred

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Physical activities include standing, walking, bending, reaching overhead, climbing ladders, crouching, crawling, pushing, pulling, kneeling, squatting, and more.
