LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a global client to hire an Import/Export Logistics Coordinator for their Portland, OR office. This is a unique role that will support both import and export of agriculture for their B2B customers, as well as accounting and reconciliation functions. Our client offers great benefits and PTO, as well as plenty of room for growth. We are seeking candidates with 3+ years of international logistics and basic inventory/finance/accounting experience who are eager and motivated to learn.

Position Details:

  • Location: Hybrid based in Portland, OR (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
  • Duration: Contract to hire
  • Pay: $28 - $32.70 per hour + bonus upon conversion to permanent
  • Hours: M-F, full time, normal business hours

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor commodities utilizing SAP and a future/physicals control system
  • Work closely with brokers for daily, weekly and monthly execution of shipments
  • Enter and monitor purchase agreements and inventory
  • Basic accounting functions such as invoicing and accounts receivable
  • Create transactional and other various reports

 

Qualifications needed:

  • 2+ years of international logistics experience (import/export)
  • Bachelors Degree, ideally in Supply Chain and Logistics, is required. If no degree, must have 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience using SAP and/or GSAP is required
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel and Word knowledge
  • Experience and knowledge of accounting functions such as invoicing
  • Strong ability to prioritize and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Background working in the food or agricultural industry is a big plus


Pay Details: $28.00 to $32.70 per hour
