We are looking to onboard an Accounts Payable Clerk at our location in Ridgefield, Washington, United States. As the Accounts Payable Clerk, your main focus will be to handle data entry tasks, streamline invoice processing, and manage vendor relationships. You will be playing a crucial role in the automation of our AP processing system.


Responsibilities:


• Accurately process vendor invoices for payment

• Engage in data entry tasks with high attention to detail

• Reach out to vendors for verifying contact information

• Manage vendor relationships and address their inquiries

• Oversee and maintain accurate credit records of customers

• Handle and process customer credit applications

• Ensure compliance with Form 1099 requirements

• Manage and process purchase orders in a timely manner

• Assist with the implementation of the new AP system


This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

• Minimum of 2 years experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role or similar

• Proven proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Demonstrated ability to code invoices accurately and efficiently

• Experience with handling Purchase Orders is required

• Knowledge of Form 1099 and its proper application is essential

• Proficiency in Vendor Management, including vendor setup and maintenance.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality

• Excellent data entry skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Good communication and organizational skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word

• Knowledge of relevant accounting software preferred.
