Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in New York, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for handling various tasks related to Accounts Payable (AP) and other bookkeeping functions.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and monitor Accounts Payable (AP) transactions.
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.
• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts.
• Regularly review customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions when necessary.
• Maintain a high level of organizational skills to manage multiple bookkeeping tasks.• Proven experience in a bookkeeping role.
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP).
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
• Detailed understanding of financial and accounting procedures.
• Familiarity with bookkeeping software.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Capability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field is preferred.
