Insight Global is seeking a qualified Financial Analyst in support of one of our clients in Athens, TN. This candidate will be working with the accounting & finance teams to provide support in month-end activities. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:

  • Account analyses, account reconciliations, journal entry creation, posting and review, inventory analyses, balance reconciliations, etc.
  • Helping to prepare financial reporting, business planning, budgeting and forecasting documents and presentations
  • Financial compliance reporting to include monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews
  • Fixed asset monitoring, analysis, review, and reporting
  • During the first 90 days this role will be mostly covering all AP responsibilities and helping with the reporting

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • 5+ years of experience within a cost accounting and/or financial analyst role
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Advanced experience analyzing data using Excel (e.g. sorting, pivot tables, comparisons, etc.)

Plusses:

  • Experience with one or more of the following:
    • PowerBI
    • SAP
    • Fixed asset reconciliation and capital
    • Intercompany reconciliations
    • Balance sheet reconciliations
