Business Analyst

The Business Analyst is a key role at Tyler Junior College, responsible for providing complex application support and guidance for the implementation and operational support of software and Banner system processes. This position is a full-time, 12-month position reporting to the Director, ERP Services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide complex application support and guidance for the implementation and operational support of software and Banner system processes.
- Oversee the completion of all support tickets for both Banner and general IT issues.
- Thoroughly test system solutions, patches, and updates created from support tickets.
- Ensure that tickets are completed in a timely manner.
- Associate's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of working experience in performing business analyst functions.
- Knowledge of higher education enrollment, scheduling, financial aid, and curriculum.
- Ability to drive the design or review of test cases, process change requests, and manage a project's scope, acceptance, installation, and deployment of software applications.
The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with an expectation for additional work hours when necessary.
