Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Shift: Third Shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM), Rotating Schedule

Position Summary:

As a Machine Operator, you will be a crucial part of our production team, responsible for operating, maintaining, and performing light preventative maintenance to machinery to ensure efficient and safe production processes. This role offers great room for advancement, providing opportunities for professional growth and development within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Standing on feet at the machine throughout the day.
  • Will take sleeves of aluminum lids to cans, and will load those into the machine (The sleeves weigh roughly 5 pounds).
  • Will perform starting and stopping of the machine
  • Performing visual quality checks during flavor changes (2 times per shift) and will fill out paperwork.
  • Use a hose and broom at times to clean the floor around the machine.
  • Once trained, the candidate could open the machine to remove a jam.
  • Operate and monitor various machines and equipment used in the production process.
  • Follow established safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Inspect products for quality and report any defects or issues to the supervisor.
  • Document production data and maintain accurate records of machine operations.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ Years of previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Ability to work the third shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a rotating schedule.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
