Job Description

This position will be working in the metal fabrication department within a manufacturing facility. You will operate metal fabrication machinery including CNC press brake, CNC turret press, CNC shear, and CNC punch press. You will be responsible for bending, shaping, punching, and cutting metal to specifications. Additionally, you will read blueprints and use a tape measure. Loading and unloading the machine by hand will also be required.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC press brake, CNC turret press, CNC shear, and CNC punch press.
  • Bend, shape, punch, and cut metal to specifications.
  • Read blueprints and use a tape measure.
  • Load and unload the machine by hand.
Essential Skills
  • CNC machine operation experience.
  • Manufacturing and production experience.
  • Machine operator experience.
  • Proficiency in using a tape measure and reading blueprints.

Work Environment

This is a large, open bay production facility with multiple work stations and bays.

The production floor is not climate controlled but has industrial-sized ceiling fans to keep the air moving.

The environment includes forklifts and manufacturing machinery, and contractors must wear safety shoes, safety glasses, and ear plugs if needed.

The area around the CNC machinery and fabrication stations is louder.

First Shift

Monday - Friday

5AM-3:30PM

Second Shift

Monday - Friday

2:30PM-11PM
