The Talent Acquisition and Engagement Specialist is responsible for recruiting a diverse set of positions throughout the Company, designing and delivering engaging onboarding and integration programs, and executing the Company’s employee engagement and recognition programs, all to support the development, retention and satisfaction of the workforce.
Description of Specific Responsibilities:
- Works closely with hiring managers, as Talent Acquisition subject matter expert, to understand position requirements, coaching and guiding along the way to ensure best practice.
- Sources and interviews both passive and active candidates through an array of channels to ensure a strong, diverse, and qualified list of candidates are provided to the hiring manager for consideration.
- Manages and updates the Company’s Careers website utilizing social media sites to ensure an accurate and engaging reflection of opportunities and company culture is exhibited.
- Participates in community recruitment events to engage with prospective candidates, representing the company in a positive, professional, and engaging way.
- Takes a proactive approach in following Talent Acquisition & Engagement trends, bringing knowledge in house to share and educate.
- Executes the employee onboarding process and ensures that all required paperwork is completed accurately and timely.
- Facilitates new hire orientation, “Training Camp”, and provides an outstanding first impression that helps to solidify the choice to joining the ARMOR-IIMAK team.
- Leads delivery and communication of the company’s performance feedback processes and manager/employee check-ins to help drive a culture of continuous feedback, coaching, and successful achievement of goals.
- Organizes, with help from other colleagues, company recognition programs and engagement events. Ensures that programs are aligned with the interests and needs of the workforce.
- Establishes engagement and retention scoreboard and provides monthly reporting and analysis focused on driving engagement and employee commitment.
- Manages exit interview process, gathering data to analyze and report on areas of opportunity within the organization.
- Oversees Employee Reward & Recognition platform, guaranteeing users have access, understand how to use, monitor budget spend, etc.
- Acts as liaison through VIE (Volunteer International Education) program with global headquarters in France.
Knowledge, skill, and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred
- 3+ years in talent acquisition and sourcing, and employee engagement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience successfully engaging and attracting diverse talent to join an organization.
- A creative and innovative business professional with a proven track record of bringing fresh and progressive ideas to the workplace.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Advanced presentation and public speaking skills.
- Good time management skills; ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast past environment and prioritize under deadline pressure.
- Familiarity with social media platforms.
- Proficiency working in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Experience working in an HRIS application, preferably ADP.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Experience with international recruitment a plus
